The season 2008/2009 will be a historic period for Scarborough RUFC. The last match at The Showground (after 82 years) is due to be played against Glossop on Saturday 24th January 2009. The first match at SILVER ROYD our new home will be against Bridlington on Saturday 31st January 2009. (both dates to be confirmed). Work is progressing well on our fabulous ￡4m stadium, set in 32 acres of land. With 5 senior pitches, 5 mini pitches, 10 changing rooms, 2 gyms, indoor rugby training sportshall, 2 squash courts and lots more, it will be a facility for us all to be proud of.
